How To Store Food

The food can’t be saved at random. It pays some attention to maintain the temperature arround the food itself and avoid bacterial contamination. Here are some suggestions to avoid bacterial contamination :
  • Freezer’s temperature is not higher than 10 degrees Celsius. Note the flow of air around the food division to the average temperatures.
  • Before eating, the food should be heated again until temperatures reached 75 degrees Celsius and evenly distributed in all parts of the food.
  • Frozen food from the freezer should be diluted in the refrigerator or microwave, do not left in the open air. Raw food will quickly become a breeding ground germs if left at room temperature.
  • Meat, fish, eggs, poultry, and raw vegetables contain many bacteria and contaminate the cooked food that stored in the refrigerator.
  • Raw food should be stored in closed places so the food or liquid do not drip to the other.
  • Get used to wash hands before eating or after handling raw food before preparing food cooked on the table.
  • Note also chopping-block that will be used. The chopping block should be separated between chopping block for raw food and cooked food.
  • Kitchenware, such as knives, spoons, forks should be washed after it is used to handle raw food, do not directly be used to handle cooked food.
