Mood stayed about the same on days they didn't, with the exception of people's sense of calm which deteriorated. Critically, workers performed significantly better on exercise days and across all three areas we measured, known as mental-interpersonal, output and time demands. People who built exercise into their workday were re-energised, calmer and more able to solve problems. This invention shows that regular exercise on work day generally well-known have many physical and mental health benefits.If people try to fit an active break into their working day, they might also experience the added bonus of their whole day feeling much more productive. And that always feels good in our busy lives. The study also begs the question whether employers can afford not to be encouraging active breaks. The suggestion is that employers who are ahead of the game in offering proper on-site facilities actually get less from their employees on days that they don't exercise.

Male Circumcision and Cervical Cancer Prevention for Women

Men who have been circumcised gain double protection against AIDS and the virus that causes cervical cancer in women, research shows. Three new studies show that circumcision reduces the risk of both sexually transmitted infections in men and possibly their future sexual partners. The reports, published in the Journal of Infectious Diseases, will fuel the debate over whether men - and newborn boys - should be circumcised.
Men and women can catch human papilloma virus - the virus that causes cervical cancer - if they have sex with someone else who has it. Condoms lower women's chances of contracting HPV but do not rule it out.
However, the latest findings show that women are less likely to become infected if their partner has been circumcised.
Dr. Bertran Auvert of the University of Versailles in France and colleagues in South Africa tested more than 1,200 men visiting a clinic in South Africa. They found under 15 per cent of the circumcised men and 22 per cent of the uncircumcised men were infected with the human papilloma virus, or HPV, which is the main cause of cervical cancer and genital warts. This finding explains why women with circumcised partners are at a lower risk of cervical cancer than other women.

In the meantime, if possible risk from cell phone use is still a concern to you, limitting the time you spend on your cell, opting for a plugged-in phone whenever possible, turning off your handheld whenever it is not in use, and using a headset or speakerphone instead will help limit your EMF exposure.

Dandruff (also called scurf and historically termed Pityriasis capitis) is due to the excessive shedding of dead skin cells from the scalp. Penetration by OA of the top layer of the epidermis, the stratum corneum, results in an inflammatory response in susceptible persons which disturbs homeostatis and results in erratic cleavage of stratum corneum cells. Rarely, dandruff can be a manifestation of an allergic reaction to chemicals in hair gels/sprays, hair oils, or sometimes even dandruff medications like ketoconazole. There is no convincing evidence that food (such as sugar or yeast), excessive prespiration, or climate have any role in the pathogenesis of dandruff. However, certain oily foods or excessive intake of 'junk food' can trigger the appearance of dandruff. Flaking is a symptom of seborrheic dermatitis. Joseph Bark notes that "Redness and itching is actually seborrheic dermatitis, and it frequently occurs around the folds of the nose and the eyebrow areas, not just the scalp." Dry, thick, well-defined lesions consisting of large, silvery scales may be traced to the less common psoriasis of the scalp.Seasonal changes, stress, and immuno-suppression seem to affect seborrheic dermatitis.
